Lickinghole basin easy 4 - 5 miles hike in Crozet, Virginia

This is an easy hike near Claudius Crozet Park that is mostly flat and shady trails. You will be lucky if you get to see blue herons, large Eagle nest on the tree and possibly eaglets, birds, box turtles, garter and black rat snakes. Please bring binocular to enjoy the nature and water to stay hydrated. You can bring the family friendly dogs but they need to be on leash at all times.

Difficulty: This is an easy 4 to 5 mile hike.

What to Bring/Wear: water, snacks, layered clothing, good hiking shoes.

Weather: If plans change due to weather I'll update in the comments section.

Dog Policy: I am happy to have well behaved pups join - must be on a leash and please pick up after your pet.
