Hike Details - I am going to start the New Year with my annual hike. I am going with a change in venue in that we are going to hike the circuit trail around the Ragged Mountain Natural Area. The parking area is small. If anybody is interested, a carpool can be organized from the Fontaine Research Park at 8:15 in front of Building 545. This hike is capped 12 people.

I had stopped leading hikes every weekend in 2024 and spending more time with good friends on the trails. I am returning to leading hikes on the 1st and 3rd weekends of every month in 2025. Whether it is Saturday or Sunday will depend on when Manchester United is playing that weekend. I am going to be leading those longer distance and strenuous hikes in 2025. For those who go on this hike, I will lay out what I am planning to do in 2025. Following the hike, there will be a post hike/potluck to socialize and catch up. If you have questions about the strenuous hikes that I lead, I will answer those questions. Please make sure to answer the question about what you will bring to share with the group.
