Let's Ring in the New Year Together. January 1, 2025 2:00 pm to 5 pm.

You are invited to a New Year's Day bash, beginning at 2 PM at 55 Apple Lane in Afton, Virginia. There is plenty of parking on the side of the driveway and in front. You can hike in the morning with Patrick and continue the celebration during the afternoon at my house. I will supply soda (diet), water, plates, silverware, napkins and wine. If you'd like beer or hard liquor, you are on your own. Please bring something (aka, food) to share. There will be a table set up for appetizers and desserts. Around 3:00, Jim Arnold and I will share with you some thoughts and photos from Nepal.

On December 31st, I will post a message confirming the bash or re-scheduling due to inclement weather. I will have copies of my letters 1-4 available for those of you who didn't receive copies. You might want to bring an extra chair with you (or a Yoga pad, if that's your thing) for the presentation (I use the term, presentation, loosely :-).

New Year's Day is a day to share with friends. I look forward to seeing all the hikers who have made my life so full!
