Hike the Fluvanna Heritage Trail ( 6 miles)
Details
Fluvanna Heritage Trail is a 4.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Palmyra, Virginia that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. The trail is hilly with lots of ups and downs. There are benches along the trail for rest stops. Flush toilets are available at the trailhead and non-flush at the dog park (turn around point).
We'll be doing a shorter version of the trail by taking side trails on the way out and back. Plan on covering a total distance of about 6 miles.
