Linear coastal walk from Lee on Solent to Gosport, returning by bus

This is a flat walk at a reasonable pace of 6-7 miles, along pavements, Footpaths and Shingle depending on the accessibility at Browndown from Lee to Stokes Bay then through Alverstoke past the lakes around to Haslar and then Gosport. We will then catch the bus back to Lee.

We can have lunch either in Gosport or Lee depending on bus times and your preferences.

Please be prepared to walk in inclement weather and dress accordingly.

Plenty of car parking on the streets close to the Hovercraft Museum, some is free and some is paid.

Meet at 9.45 for a prompt start at 10am.
