Name: First walk, First day of 2025. Scafell Pike. Moderate to Hard

This route has long lead in so pretty gentle for around 4km (2.5m) but gets harder and scramblie especially the last couple of Km's.
If the last section is unsafe due to weather conditions we will return to base, please remember we all have different levels of "safe" but will stick togather for safety. If you are not a team player then please do not come on this walk.
This is not the shortest route up to Scafell Pike but it is easier to access from the M6 than all the others routes, I think!
Its also close to lots of B&B's as well as lots of parking and not to mention pubs for coffee or beer after the walk.
As some of you know we are starting the "Peak Bagging" challenge in 2025, this is not one of those days, however Scafell Pike is one the list so we can tick this one off.
I know this is not for everyone, especially the day after NYE and a few drinks the night before but it's a choice thing and this is mine, please join me if you are able but PLEASE do not DD.
Please watch out for safety advice and kit list few days before this walk.
I will be staying over near the Old Dungeon Gill for a few day.
