The ICARE Living Well Program: How Our 5-Step Program Transforms Doug’s Life and Promotes Wellness at Any Age

In this keynote, Ashley Ivey will introduce the ICARE Living Well Program, a transformative five-step approach designed to empower seniors to live healthier, more vibrant, and purpose-driven lives. This program focuses on nutritious meals, movement, personalized care, engaging activities, and meaningful relationships—cornerstones of our wellness-focused community at ICARE Homes.
You’ll hear the inspiring story of Doug, a former NASA rocket scientist, who suffered aneurysms that caused dementia. When Doug came to ICARE Homes, he was isolated, frustrated, and on multiple medications. Through the Living Well Program, we are helping Doug rediscover his passions, improve his health, and regain his dignity and independence.
This presentation will provide practical insights into how these five steps can dramatically improve the lives of seniors—whether in care settings, business practices, or within your own family. If you want to learn how to create environments where seniors will thrive, this keynote is for you.
