***THE MEETUP TIME IS 8:15 a.m. A pre-ride safety briefing will begin at 8:45 a.m. and WE ROLL AT 9:00 a.m. You can also Show up and leave before 8:45 a.m***.

If you have a conversational pace, start your ride earlier to arrive back in time.

This ride will start from the Xscape Theatre 14 parking lot on Crain Hwy. You can eat at one of the many restaurants in the area for breakfast or lunch. Bathrooms will be available inside McDonald's or Safeway if needed. Park your cars in the large parking in front of Xscape Theatres 14.

The Metric riders will have Danville Road at mile 9 with fresh legs; this is a chance to get a PR!
The 62-mile Metric and 42 Mile route will have plenty Self -Service rest stops. Check the Cue Sheets for details.

We need volunteer Ride Marshals to help out the Ride Leaders on both routes. If you want to help marshal let me know in advance by posting a comment. THANK YOU!

**Our rides will have SAG.**

For paid members, please bring $3 for SAG. For non-paid members, please bring $5 for SAG. CASH APP $RodneyJNoland, Zelle or give him EXACT CHANGE at the meetup, PLEASE! The SAG number will be provided at the ride for those who paid.

Why do we have Support and Gear (SAG)? To ensure you and your bike get back to your car safely if you have an accident, are not able to finish the ride, incur mechanic, have medical issues, or maybe you Biked off more than you can do. SAG will assist you in these matters. In other words, Crap Happens!

**PACE:**
A/B = Fast Touring 18-20+ mph AMS
C =Easy Touring 15 to 17 mph AMS
AMS (Average Moving Speed) may vary depending on terrain, traffic, and the ability of riders.

**PRE-RIDE LOGISTICS:**

* To make the ride-day sign in quicker and easier, please provide your ride day contact info via the RSVP questions, so the Ride Leader/Organizer can have that in case of an emergency on the day of the ride. Your info will be kept private and is only visible to the Ride Leader/Organizer.

**CYCLIST RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Arrive early and be ready to leave on time.
* FOR SAFETY REASONS, (NO LOUD MUSIC)-HEADPHONES, PLEASE. We need everyone able to hear other riders, cars, etc. Single earpiece for Nav/GPS is okay. Best for Cycling [SHOKZ Headphones](https://shokz.com/)
* HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
* CARRY A SPARE TUBE, PATCH KIT, PUMP, WATER BOTTLE, AND SNACK.
* Carry identification and emergency money.
* Practice safety and obey all traffic laws.
* Do not "bike off" more than you can do. Go on rides within your ability, interest, and experience level.
* If you get a flat tire, you are responsible for having a spare inner tube and changing your tire.
* MAKE SURE YOUR BICYCLE IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER BEFORE YOU ARRIVE!
