THE MEETUP TIME IS 9:15 a.m \*\*\*. A pre-ride safety briefing will begin at 9:45 a.m., and WE ROLL AT 10:00 a.m. You can also Show up and leave before 9:45 a.m.

This ride will start from the Vista Gardens Marketplace in Bowie, MD, travel to the rural areas of Landover and Upper Marlboro, and return. If you get there early, you can grab a breakfast sandwich at one of the restaurants in the Marketplace before the ride. Bathrooms will be available at the local restaurants if needed.

We need volunteer Ride Marshals to assist the Ride Leaders. If you are interested in being a ride Marshal, please let me know by posting a comment. THANK YOU!

"Show & Go" (S&G): As soon as you show, you can start your ride and not wait for the group to leave at the given time. NOTE: You must STAY on the route and have a cue sheet with the emergency contact numbers.

The 40- and 30-mile ride will have one Self-Supported rest stop with Bathrooms/Food/Water.

**Our rides will have SAG.**
For paid members, please bring $3 for SAG. For non-paid members, please bring $5 for SAG. CASH APP $RodneyJNoland, or give him EXACT CHANGE at the meetup, PLEASE! The SAG number will be provided at the ride.

Why do we have Support and Gear (SAG)? To ensure you and your bike get back to your car safely, if you have an accident, cannot finish the ride, incur any medical issues, or maybe you Biked off more than you can do. SAG will assist you in these matters. In other words, Crap Happens!

**PACE**:
A/B = Fast Touring 18-20+ mph AMS
C =Easy Touring 15 to 17 mph AMS
AMS (Average Moving Speed) may vary depending on terrain, traffic, and riders' ability.

**PRE-RIDE LOGISTICS:**

3. Please provide your ride-day contact info via the RSVP questions so the Ride Leader/Organizer can have that in case of an emergency on the day of the ride. Your info will be kept private and is only visible to the Ride Leader/Organizer.

***CYCLIST RESPONSIBILITIES:***

1. Arrive early and be ready to leave on time.

3. HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
4. CARRY A SPARE TUBE, PATCH KIT, PUMP, WATER BOTTLE, AND SNACK.
5. Carry identification and emergency money.
6. Practice safety and obey all traffic laws.
7. Do not "bike off" more than you can do. Go on rides within your ability, interest, and experience level.
8. If you get a flat tire, you must have a spare inner tube and change your tire.
9. **MAKE SURE YOUR BICYCLE IS IN PROPER WORKING ORDER BEFORE YOU ARRIVE!**
