What we’re about
This is a group for gals age 40 plus who are interested in having fun and making friends. Most meetups will be in Sussex County. We will plan lunches, brunches, happy hours and dinners. We can get together for trivia nights, local plays, movies, bands and comedy shows. Day trips on the ferry, going to AC or Cape May, walking the boards in OC, Rehoboth and Bethany.. Hiking, biking, festivals, farmer's markets and more...
Some ground rules...First...you need a picture! We need to see your lovely face so we can find you and you can find us on some of the larger meetups. Second..there is an annual due for this meetup group of $5. This fee will only be due after you have had a 3 month trial period so that you can be sure that this meetup is a keeper for you. If you do not pay it meetup will remove you from the group and you will not be able to RSVP to events until payment. I am not looking to make a profit. Once subscription costs are covered, any overage will be used for end of year meetup treats and ongoing treats. I ask that you attend at least 1 meetup per quarter. If you don't plan to participate there is no reason to join. Next...RSVPs are important...especially for dinners and events that require reservations. Any member that cancels the day of an event or no call/no shows 3X will be removed from the group. Most dinner meetups that require reservations have people who are waitlisted. It is unfair to RSVP for a spot and not show up when one of your fellow members wanted to go. Lastly...be kind, be courteous, add no drama, be yourself AND HAVE FUN!
