Non-traditional Book Club
Details
During the remainder of October you should read a book of your choice and be prepared to share it with the group at the meet up. The format will be flexible, no written component is required; just come ready to share whatever you'd like about your book. What made you select it? Was it what you expected? The opposite? Successes or failures on the part of the author? Who else might enjoy it? Was there a poignant line/paragraph/quote worth sharing? Again, these are not mandatory questions that must be answered, but rather some ideas to get you started when you're trying to decide what you'd like to share. If you want/are able to bring a copy of the book you read, I encourage it (oftentimes the cover ALONE is a hook to choose the book!), but you do not have to do so.
Since we're meeting around dinner, feel free to eat with us, but there's no pressure if you just want to come for literature, fellowship, and socialization! All genres are on the table! No limits or restrictions.
**I posted this as a recurring event, but will change the location like we talked about. 😎
