the walk starts north up the steep slope up of mill glen, over the law, turning left along the fence to ben cleuch. from there we retrace our steps before turning towards andrew gannel hill. we then descend east to the gannel burn before ascending to kings seat hill. our return is back to and descend the gannel burn path to tillicoultry where we may be able to enjoy a pint (inside) the pub by the carpark.

please note: this map shows the terrain and the route from tillicoultry towards ben cleuch and on to kings seat but from there our route will be different, descending not to dollar but south west back to the car park at tillicoultry.

this is a proper mountain walk walk so participants must be fit and come fully equipped with proper walking boots, waterproofs, thermal layer, gloves, hat, food and hot drink plus hopefully sunglasses and cream!
