What we’re about
Hey there, want to try something new, make new friends and learn a new sport? Then come and try korfball! But firstly, what is korfball?
Korfball is a ball sport, with similarities to netball and basketball. It is played by two teams of eight players with four female players and four male players in each team. The objective is to throw a ball into a netless basket that is mounted on a 3.5 m (11.5 feet) high pole, with girls marking girls and boys marking boys. Each player is then in a duel with an opponent of the same sex and must use their speed, agility, and skill to break free to shoot and score. This creates a fun, fast, dynamic game. Interested?
We have a series of session that cater to all players, and you will pick up the sport in no time at all! We currently meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays:
