A data science meetup focussed on the application of mathematical optimisation and machine learning. Anyone with an interest in analytics and data science is welcome!

Each meetup we hear from speakers presentings on topics like:

Mathematical optimisation (linear programming/mixed integer programming) is an approach to solving data science and operations research problems. While most data science teams are familiar with how machine learning can be used to forecast or classify data, mathematical optimisation allows you to use business logic in the form of constraints to optimise the granular business decisions that have to be made.
