Gloucester Independent Film Festival are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the world premiere of locally produced feature film, Missing, Presumed.
The film stars This Country’s Paul Cooper and Deirdre Forrest and it is set in the local village of Eastbourne. Written and Directed by Edward Woolford, Tod and Jenny Slaughter have accidentally killed the local gas man. To cover their tracks they have to kill again and again as things spiral out of control.
Reminiscent of classic macabre Ealing comedies, like The Ladykillers (1955) & Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949), Missing, Presumed is a uniquely British, deeply personal, dark comedic love story in an ever more polarising world.
Supported by the world premiere of the local documentary, Sula Lightship by Tim Veremieienko, join us as we roll out the red carpet, welcome the stars and celebrate locally produced films in the prestigious setting of the Gloucester Guildhall.
