GIVING OPPORTUNITY
While we will not be charging for this event, we will be accepting donations for Conserving Carolina. Conserving Carolina protects almost 49,000 acres across South Carolina and North Carolina, and like many in our area impacted by Hurricane Helene, the organization is tasked with addressing substantial damage to its region and trails. Conserving Carolina estimates that it has sustained $190,000 in damage from fallen trees and landslides and will need skilled contractors to repair the trails. Conserving Carolina impacts such areas as Bearwallow Mountain Trail, Weed Patch Mountain Trail, Chimney Rock State Park, DuPont State Recreational Forest and Headwaters State Forest. Any donations will go toward this effort.
Making a donation to Conserving Carolina is optional, and you're welcome to make any dollar contribution that you feel is appropriate. Make your donation here and we'll send the full contribution from GNHA following our party.
