Starting from Cashapampa, the trail takes you through a dramatic canyon, leading to expansive alpine meadows surrounded by towering mountains including Mount Alpamayo 5,947 m.
The highlight is the Punta Unión Pass at 4,750 m, where panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys unfold. As you descend, you'll pass through the serene Huaripampa Valley, with its wildflowers and grazing llamas.
