Southease to Lewes via Firle Beacon, Glynde and Mt Caburn
Details
Join me on this lovely linear hike from Southease to Lewes leading us to some of my favourite spots in Sussex.
The trail is made up of many ups and downs, more in terrain than spirit I hope, as we set out to climb two distinct hills en route which will offer far-reaching views to the sea and surrounding countryside. The second hill will invite us to take a little detour up Mount Caburn, from where we'll be able to see the entire track giving us a chance to fully appreciate what we've achieved that day before making our way into Lewes where hopefully some nice sunset views will welcome us.
If ready to call it a day before that though, we’ll be passing by Glynde train station, offering an early escape if needed, although I do hope you'll stick with us till the end and reward yourself at one of Lewes’ historic pubs before heading home.
