What we’re about
Hey there! This group is to help bring people of all photography backgrounds and experiences together to go on group shoots, partake in fun activities (walking, hiking, exploring, day trips, etc) while shooting, and bring the local photography community closer together as a whole. There are a lot of online photography groups/events, but these events will take place in-person for the aforementioned reasons.
I would like group members to offer suggestions on places to go to shoot, that way everyone has a good time. Collaboration is a wonderful thing!
ALL AGE GROUPS, EXPERIENCES, STYLES, FORMATS, ETC ARE WELCOME!
I also want to have occasional editing meet-ups, too, that way artists can share their work in a proactive environment, give and get helpful instruction from one another (when solicited), and spend time getting to know each other while doing something they love!
(Side note: Editing meet-ups will likely take place where alcohol is served, but I will not be making any events that are specifically alcohol-centric out of respect for, and to be inclusive of, the sober community.)
