Game night. Optional pizza and craft beer. Turn off Highway 49 onto Alta Sierra Drive then take a left just before the restaurant Casa Las Katerinas. Go left into the parking lot to Trailblazer Pizza at 15690 Johnson Place. If you like to play games as a way to spend time with others, please join us. The emphasis is on socializing, not about winning. This group is not for the serious gamer. It is for the enjoyment of all. The organizer will bring the games for the first event. Festival of Lights Parade in Downtown Auburn. The parade starts near the corner of Lincoln Avenue and High Street. The parade starts at 5:30pm. The block party at Bethlehem Lutheran Church starts at 4:30pm. You may meet the group for carpool in either Grass Valley or Auburn. Grass Valley carpool from Alta Sierra Trailblazers Pizza at 3:15pm or Starbucks in Auburn at 392 Elm at 3:45pm. You may also meet the group at the block party at 4:15pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church located at 1279 High Street. You may also meet the group in Downtown Auburn at the Gold Country Mall at 882 Lincoln Way at 5:15pm for the light parade.

Award winning high school music program. Enjoy holiday music performed by the talented high school choir students. Tickets are $10 and you may purchase tickets the night of the event. We will sit near the front together. The performance is in the beautiful new music auditorium.

The Cars tribute band. The Used Cars. This event will be held at The Fern in Nevada City at 235 Commercial Street. The Cars dominated the 80s new wave synth-pop scene, and The Used Cars keep that music faithfully alive. All the hits are there from the 1978 eponymous album through the 1984 release of Heartbeat City. You might think you're hearing the real thing with dual lead singers nailing the parts of Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr. This band loves the music as much as you do, driving them to find that extra magic to give you just what you needed on the dance floor.

The Miners Foundry Cultural Center is pleased to present Fleetwood Macramé on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Bar and Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the Show begins at 8:00 p.m. The Miners Foundry offers a no host full bar with snacks available for purchase.
Fleetwood Macramé has become one of the Bay Area’s most exciting tribute bands. What began as a simple exercise in fun has turned into an awe inspiring live experience complete with show stopping renditions of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits. Audience participation is encouraged, and crowds are coming in droves to see along with Fleetwood Macramé. What’s more, they sound so much like Fleetwood Mac, if you closed your eyes, you would think it was the real thing. Only it’s better, because you’re in the front row! Linda Moody (aka Stevie Nicks), singer/guitarist of tribute bands Fleetwood Macramé and Proud Mary as original bands Chaos Fiction and Excuses for Skipping, also doubles as a neo-folk singer/songwriter in San Francisco, CA. Her acoustic music has been likened to Joni Mitchell with vivid imagery, sweet falsetto vocals and dark guitar tunings. Her newest work, a full length album entitled Angel Island Is On Fire is available now. Find her music on Spotify.
Jai Bird (aka Mick Fleetwood) has been playing drums ever since she was a kid in Austin, Texas. After moving to San Francisco, she has played in many bands including The Patsychords (A Tribute to Patsy Cline). Currently she also plays drums in Proud Mary, a Credence Clearwater Revival tribute band.
