Holiday Cookie Exchange & Festive Walk Through Willow Glen & Food Collection

Join us for a delightful holiday gathering! We’ll kick things off with a cozy cookie exchange, where you can share your favorite holiday treats and swap recipes. Please bring 3 dozen of homemade cookies (or your favorite store-bought kind) to share with others! I love to see how our diverse cultures and religions celebrate this time of the year!!!

After enjoying some sweet treats and warm conversation, we'll bundle up and head out for a scenic walk through the charming Willow Glen neighborhood to admire the beautiful holiday decorations and lights. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends and spread some holiday cheer!

Please bring the recipe so those with allergies can check the ingredients. I will scan the recipes and post as photos. Please also bring a flashlight. Also, please bring 2 canned food items. Soups, stews, chili, peanut butter, etc. are always needed items for the food pantries. I will bring the items to Second Harvest.

This event will happen rain or shine. If it does rain, I recommend a raincoat and hiking boots, I don't recommend an umbrella. I'm doing this a little earlier than previous years. My plans are to head out to Bramhall Park at 5pm. The sun sets at 4:52 so it should be dark, but hopefully, we will be earlier than the crowds. The cookie exchange will be at my house and I'll send out the address a week before.
