“When you were young, a terrible curse befell your homeland. Good fortune became a distant memory as people suffered all sorts of maladies and problems. Crops failed, wells dried up, plagues swept the land, and people were harried by misfortune. Many wished to leave this forsaken land, but it seemed the force which held it in its clutches refused to let them escape. Hope was but a memory, a memory that you and your companions refused to relinquish. Spurred by your desire to free your home from this retched curse, you sought the only way to change your fate: The Deck of Many Things.”

About the DM:
7 years experience DMing for 5e. Started playing in college and have been online-bound since the pandemic, so I am eager to get back to playing in person again. I have run a handful of WotC adventures and modules, having completed 1 long-term adventure so far (Princes of the Apocalypse). My favorite part of the game is the role-play, so I tend to favor that kind of gameplay. I am a fan of homebrew content and will often look for opportunities to try out things that look like fun. I play DnD to have fun, so I do my best to ensure everyone else at the table is having fun as well, and I am not afraid to stomp out inappropriate behavior if I have to.
Every week on Monday
