What we’re about
This group is for keen golf players of any age to explore the beautiful golf courses across the Wellington region.
The events will vary between 9 holes and 18 holes of golf and will be at a different location for each event. This could be anywhere from a local Wellington suburb location, to as far as the Kapiti coast, or the Wairarapa.
On occassions, the group may go for a drink or two after the game at a local Hospitality space. This is completely optional, but it may provide a good opportunity to get to know your fellow players better.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must have your own set of clubs (or hire them at the club)
- You must have your own transport, or catch a ride with another member of the group
- You must be able to play golf.
(there is no requirement to be good at the game, but you cannot be a complete beginner as this may slow the group down too much to play on certain courses around the region) - You must be able to pay for your own round of golf unless of course you are a member at the club we are playing at.
- You must respect the rules of the golf course. For example; please repair your divots, and please repair your pitch marks.
Apart from that, we're there to have fun, and enjoy the game of golf (and maybe a cheeky beer or two afterwards).
