What we’re about
Please join us in supporting local charities and non-profit groups. These groups do so much for our community and we want them to know that we support them. This is a way to get active, have fun, and meet new people!
We will organize volunteer opportunities throughout Metro Detroit, offering group members a good variety of hand-on activities to participate in. All of our activities will be in the evenings or on the weekends making them convenient for people who work during the day.
Most of our volunteer projects require that we work as a team. Projects are often planned based on the number of volunteers expected, because of this it is important that if you sign-up, you show-up. If you get 3 no-shows you will be removed from this group. Make sure to update your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if you can no longer attend an event.

Good News Club Guidelines & Rules
The first rule of GNC is respect. Show respect for your fellow volunteers, respect the organization that we are there to help, and most importantly show the utmost respect to any individuals that are seeking help at these organizations.
The second rule of GNC is that if you sign-up, show-up. Any members that acquire 3 no-shows will politely be removed from the group. Always look or ask for a sign-in sheet at events so that you don’t get marked as a no-show by mistake. Give both your name and your GNC screen name on sign in sheet if they are different.
When events are full that means that no additional members can attend. This is often a number set by the non-profit based on space limitations. Do not attend events that you weren’t able to RSVP for. Watch for spots to open up the day before or the day of.
We ask that members attend at least one event per year. Any members that choose not to participate for over a year will be politely removed from the group.
Each non-profit organization has its own rules. These may include a dress code, age limits, interaction with the organizations clientele, etc. You will be informed of the organizations rules and we ask that you respect them.
"This is why I have never stopped praying for you since I heard about you. I ask God that you may know what He wants you to do. I ask God to fill you with the wisdom and understanding the Holy Spirit gives. Then your lives will please the Lord. You will do every kind of good work, and you will know more about God."
Colossians 1:9-10

It's too cold for baseball but that doesn't stop Miracle League from providing opportunities for children with mental and physical disabilities. Winter is the time for the bowling league and they are in need of buddies to help the kids bowl. Let's give them a hand!
