FGCU Empty Bowls is back for 2024! We will be welcomed once again by Ceramics Professor Tricia Fay and her wonderful Empty Bowls interns Mariangella Cepero and Mya Finney. After a truly amazing event last year, they are hard at work preparing for this year's 18th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser at the FGCU Arts Complex benefiting the Interfaith Charities of South Lee County on Friday, December 6. The event starts at 10:00 a.m., kicking off with a pottery sale, and then the Empty Bowls Soup Lunch from 11:30 to 1:00. You may want to get there early to scope out your favorite bowl(s)!! These unique pieces are great treasures for pottery enthusiasts and make special Holiday gifts for friends and family! Plus, there are other artwork pieces made by students and alumni to purchase!!
Delicious soups, chilis and more will be provided by local restaurants.
Last year, this event raised $8,310 for the Interfaith Charities of South Lee County!
