Christmas vibes trip to Serra da Estrela

The magical time of Christmas is coming. What can be better than spending a pre-Christmas weekend in a cozy house in the mountains?

About the trip

We are heading to the Serra da Estrela area to catch the best of Christmas vibes in Portugal. First, we will dive into the atmosphere and visit a little historic village Cabeça that is turned into an authentic ecological rustic winter wonderland in December. After getting lost in all the Christmas decorations and delights we will head to the house for a cozy evening by the fireplace in the house by the river.

Our Saturday and Sunday plans will depend on the weather. If we are lucky to have some snow, we will head to the ski station and have fun riding Portuguese slopes. If we are lucky to have warm and dry weather, we will go on a hike in the area. If it is going to rain, we will explore viewpoints in the area and do a cooking together session in the house.

About the host

Edvin, an entrepreneur by nature, who knows how to keep things in control, a creative explorer by heart, and a dentist by profession.
Born in Iran, grew up, created and sold several businesses in Sweden and now living his next chapter in Portugal. As international and open-minded as it can get. People who have been on a trip with Edvin say that he is the ultimate fun guy who will not let any gathering be boring.
