Get Ready For a Fun Fantastic Night Full of Music, Dancing, and Celebrating.

**WHAT:** You are invited to Ring in The New Year with Get Out Today RVA. Dance the night away and join us for a champagne toast at midnight. With lots of food, a dance floor, and friends, it's always a good time.

**WHEN:** December 31st. It starts around 7:00pm and goes until 2am or until the last person leaves. Please arrive no later than 10pm.

**WHERE:** Wembly Swim & Racquet Club - 1311 Gaskins Road, Henrico, VA. 23238. The clubhouse will be decorated to help bring in the New Year.

**ATTENDEE LIMIT:** The clubhouse has a limit of 65 people.

In previous years, I have charged between $25 and $30 per person to attend gotRVA's New Year's Eve Party. This charge was necessary because I typically spend around $800 to put on this event. This cost includes renting the clubhouse, decorating, food, meetup fees, and more.

This year I'm trying something different: I am VERY excited to announce that this year's gotRVA's NYE Party will be **COMPLETELY FREE!** However, I still have significant expenses to cover, so I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider donating to help out. **ATTIRE:** In previous years, the dress code has always been "dress to impress." This year, I'm lifting that requirement; however, I would still prefer that people avoid wearing T-shirts and jeans. Let's keep it a bit classy, as it will be enjoyable to see everyone dressed up for a change.

**WHAT'S SUPPLIED:** Clubhouse, All New Year-themed decorations, Set up and Clean up, One appetizer, BBQ Meatballs, Bread/rolls, Ice, plates, napkins, cups, utensils, etc., Champagne and Sparkling Cider to toast at midnight, dance floor, and music.

**WHAT TO BRING:** This event is Potluck Style, so please bring a delicious side dish to share and your own beer, wine, and/or liquor. Also, don't forget to bring your PARTY attitude and dancing shoes.

**SCHEDULE FOR THE EVENING:** 7:00pm - 10:00pm: Arrival of guests - Hang up your coat on the coat rack as you enter the door and get your name tag. Put food on the tables in the backroom and alcohol at the bar. Eat, mingle, and dance the night away.

10:15ish: Music stops for Announcements. Then back to Dancing.

11:45: Pouring of the Champagne and Sparkling Cider.

11:55: We turn on the TV and start the countdown. After that, the party and dancing continue until the last person leaves.

**ADDITIONAL INFO:** Please be responsible when drinking. If need be, you can spend the night at the clubhouse. Just bring your own cot or inflatable mattress. Or you can stay longer to sober up, and/or get a friend to drive you home, or you can call an Uber or Taxi. Either way, It's a lot cheaper than risking a DUI.
