Watercolour on Stonepaper. One-day Workshop.

Stone Paper is a paper produced from stone powder. Its waterproof, smooth and extremely withe surface make it possible to create awesome effects with watercolour painting.

Content
With a strong, glossy and completely water-resistant paper, you get the opportunity to experiment and find new ways to use watercolour paints.
The technique you learn here makes it possible to create very abstract or graphic effect illustrations, based on lines and areas of color.
We will start with free experimentation, where you really get to play with water and color. Also we will learn how use the watercolour markers and ink pen for create more detailed illustration on the Stone Paper.
I will share with you all the tips per lavorare con questo materiale full of good qualities for create texture, effects and very special illustrations.

Prior knowledge
The course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced artists who want to learn this new technique.

Leader
Chiara Pignotti has PhD in Art, Research and Production.
I like to combine techniques in jewellery making, illustration and printing.
Since 2010, my work has been carried out mainly in the Fine Art academic field, as University Researcher and Lecture in Spain, at the University Polytechnic of Valencia, and in Mexico, at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. At the same time my artistic production continued specialising more and more in jewellery making. My works has been exhibited in Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Mexico, USA and Japan.
In 2019 I moved in Gothenburg. In addition to my artistic commitments, I also work as an art teacher conducting courses and workshops at Lerverk Gallery, Studiefrämjandet, Folkuniversitetet and online with Nirmal Art Academy.
