Welcome and great that you consider joining us!
We are an International Club for New and existing friends with an interest for Nature and Exploring! 💫👍🙂
We are not a Hiking Group but a Exploration Group that go out to Explore mostly remote and off track interesting locations that has Natural, Environmental or Cultural importance while also teaching us about the History of the land!
And for that we have to walk or hike to get there 🙂💫
I am a danish Architect working with Nature Restoration! 🙂
On our Expeditions I share with you through casual conversation the knowledge that I have gathered about the land and its Nature Environmental History! 💫👍
Our events are all about making new friends with like-minded people while learning about all! 🙂💫
We explore interesting eateries/restaurants hidden in the far corners and out of the normal ways.
As always we go off track so you have to be prepared to do unusual things!
For that reason all people joining us need Good stamina a good fitness level and not suffer from fear, vertigo or other afflictions that can prove problematic.
You have to be positive spirited, be self reliant and prepared to do what is needed! We are after all explorers on an expedition! :-D
As we are from all over the world we use English as common foreign language so you must be able to communicate well in english!
You will for practical reasons need to have your name and a resent recognizable photo of yourself on this meetup group profile!
So that we all can recognize each other and see who we are going out with! 🙂💫
We min. go 5 people, not too few to have a group, nor too many to not all be able to connect max 9.
Participating tribute* Goes to help fund our work at the "Land & Nature Restoration Project - Gran Canaria - Regreening our Island".
Here we work to create knowledge/awareness about the current state of the enviroment here on the canary islands. We experiment and learn how to sustainably regrow desertificated and abandoned farmland.

Meetups are 10€ for participating* + app 8€ for public bus tickets or shared rental cars!
Together we are about 1000 members on our Facebook group and about 2750 members here on our Meetup group! We have already been on about 400 Expeditions.
You can under past meetups see all the places we have been and photos to get inspired.
Important these meetups are a private grouping of new and coming friends that go out exploring together!
This means that it is in any legal sense just like you being out with your friends or by yourself!
You are at your own risk at all times!
This Meetup is for Private people meeting each other on a friends basis!
Bring your good exploring spirit and we will enjoy and learn something new about our island.
