Come get your holiday spirit on with a jovial gift exchange in the White Elephant tradition - preceded by optional brunch. A White Elephant plays out like a game, with gifts opened one at a time and with the option of stealing another participant's already-opened gift in lieu of opening one on your turn. Some gifts are likely to be stolen repeatedly, within limits.

**What each participant should bring**: A wrapped gift ranging from desirable to absurd and that costs no more than 20.00. Gift cards are always popular. Novelty gifts are often treasured beyond any semblance of reason, Regifting works, too - as long as the gift-wrapped product is brand new and in its original packaging.

**When to arrive:** If you will be joining us for brunch beforehand, arrive between 10:15 - 10:30 AM (many of us will be coming from a hike). If you will be attending only the White Elephant and not brunch, please arrive at The Hop Stop no later than 11:15 AM. The White Elephant will begin between 11:15 and 11:30 AM.

**Location of White Elephant:** The Hop Stop, 14055 Midland Rd, Poway CA 92064, where you'll find us on the patio. They serve a wide range of prepared food dishes as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

**Dress warm**: Barring rain, the White Elephant will take place on the patio, so I'd suggest wearing or bringing extra layers despite the fact that The Hop Stop has outdoor heaters and provides blankets.
