The Great Lakes Shamanic Community (GLSC) is a Spiritual Community of Families living in Michigan and Illinois; A vibrant community of seekers committed to the human quest for growth, excellence, maturity and integrity, in the tradition of the Sweet Medicine Sundance teachings. We hold an open door for the curious who strive to deepen their connection to the Natural worlds of Grandmother Earth.
We are a community that fosters the flourishing of Beauty, Power, Knowledge, and Freedom, in the Sweet Medicine SunDance tradition. Our mission is to fight against ignorance, slavery, bigotry, racism, war, dogma and superstition.
We offer programs through a variety of lodges, study groups and affiliated teachers located throughout the Great Lakes areas of Michigan and Illinois. This includes several locations from Detroit to Chicago.
