Meet at the Oak Bay Recreation Center, 1975 Bee St, Victoria V8R 5E6. Please note: Registration will be set up inside the recreation centre near the washrooms at the rear on the main floor. Registration starts at 9:30 am and closes at 9:55 am. We have selected Route B: Anderson Hill and Marina. The 10 km route (rated 2C) visits the lovely Anderson Hill Park with expansive ocean views before descending and exploring the Oak Bay waterfront, including the Marina and Willows Beach. Route A, 10 km rated 2B – Walk the streets of Langford to the forested trails of the Royal Roads campus. The trail meanders through old-growth forests and then past small waterfalls on Charlie’s Trail in the rainy seasons. Catch stunning views of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State.
Route C, 6 km rated 2B – This walk features Colwood Creek Park with wide open grassy areas and a footbridge that connects two large, level park areas.For an explanation of walk ratings click here.
