GBH, Tufts & Harvard/MIT Chaplains: AHA's Dir. Stark on Growing Humanism Today

Details

We invite you to Meet Fish Stark, the new Executive Director of the American Humanist Association, as he discusses his vision for the AHA, the future of humanism, and how and why our movement will grow. This event is co-sponsored by Greater Boston Humanists, the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard and MIT, and the Tufts Humanist Chaplaincy!

This event will take place at the Tufts Interfaith Center, within a short walk of the Tufts/Medford Green Line stop with parking nearby.
Registration required (RSVPing on MeetUp is nice but not sufficient :-) https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc9IStjPUEVvOv1QaIW9Vo41E0r18XpxCEvnh_kfEntGgkMqw/viewform

Fish Stark is an organizer, educator, social entrepreneur, and lifelong humanist, who has spent his career turning big ideas into bold action in service of belonging, flourishing, and social justice for all people.
Prior to joining the AHA as Executive Director, Fish was the Head of Program + Curriculum at Legends, an educational technology startup, where he led research and implementation teams to create products that helped children build self-confidence, positive mental health, and critical thinking skills. Previously, Fish served as the Director of Programs at Peace First, a global nonprofit that provides training and funding to youth social justice activists, where he led a global team of organizers who empowered thousands of youth grantees in 140+ countries to make lasting change in their communities, and worked with organizations such as the Red Cross and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation to develop youth leadership programs.

Parking in Somerville is free on Sundays in metered and most non-metered spots, and there is a parking garage nearby. MBTA Green line Tufts/Medford station and associated bus stops are also within 3-4 blocks of the location, which is quite nice! Hope to see you there!
(Online attendance not available but event will be filmed for later distribution)
