Franconia Ridge (NH)

12/7 (Sat) Franconia Ridge - NH We will start from the Old Bridle Path Trailhead to hike up Falling Waters to Little Haystack, then across the Appalachian Trail ridge to Lincoln (5089 ft) and Lafayette (5260 ft) peaks before descending Old Bridle Path. (Note that this outing will be highly weather dependent, but winter conditions should be expected. Participants should have prior experience with winter outings ). We will plan for a 7:00 AM start in NH (5:00 AM meet at Richmond Park and Ride). Difficult Hike/snowshoe. Moderate to strong pace. 9 miles. 4100' elevation gain. Group limit 10.
