The workshop will be of interest to anyone who is eager to unravel myths about the costs or difficulties of living sustainably, and who want to learn simple steps to green living.
- Shalford Energy ShowcaseShalford Village Hall, Guildford
There is a free one-day Energy Showcase event at the village hall in Shalford on 16 November organized by the Climate Action group and the Community Council.
There will be information and advice about solar panels and heat pumps, from companies who have installed them locally, as well as about EV cars and chargers. We will also have representatives from the Surrey county council team who can advise on energy-saving and help with existing grant programs, and the HEAT team based at ZERO who can book you a free energy survey for your house.
There will also be talks at the hall during the day and the opportunity to talk to local residents who have already used the Solar Together scheme or have heat pumps installed.
Please come along with all your questions between 10 and 5pm.
