What we’re about

Welcome to the Greenville Walks!  This is a private group of adults who like to walk and share fellowship with others.

A typical walk is in the 3 to 4 mile range during the work week and anywhere from 4 to 6 miles on the weekend, depending on the location. We try to keep a steady pace, where we're still able to enjoy conversations with fellow walkers. We walk after work during the week and during the day on weekends. You must be physically able to walk the hilly terrain of the downtown parks and neighborhoods. Please note we are NOT a dog walking group.

Most of our walks are in the Cleveland Park/Falls Park area, downtown, and the Legacy Park/ Verdae area. Other places might include the Millennium Parkway, Furman University, Paris Mountain State Park, the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and Conestee Nature Park.

To request to join the group, provide a current picture that clearly identifies yourself to others. (No pet pics, cartoon images, children, or multiple people in the photo). The photo is for your security as well as the security of other group members and cannot be seen by people who are not members of Greenville Walks. Answer the questions on the application. Yearly dues are $10 to contribute to the cost of maintaining the group.  For the safety and concern of others, we ask everyone to respect  and follow the current Covid health guidelin
