Dear GTD'ers,
We are happy to announce our last virtual GTD Meetup in 2024. This time we will be joined by John Forrister and talk about GTD and transitions. During your lifetime you will face a lot of small and big transitions. Transitions could be things like getting a new job, marriage, kids, moving just to name some of the positive ones. Some of the transitions are planned and others are unplanned and often come as a surprise. John Forrister and Jens Hynne Petersen will talk about how GTD can help us handle the big transitions. The Meetup will very much be a hands-on Meetup and will also have room for a lot of questions and discussions. You will be working on your own big transitions (both current and future transitions), so bring your GTD system with all the lists and higher horizons documents. Don’t worry if you don’t have any higher horizons documents. You will get input to them.
The virtual Meetup on Zoom will be Tuesday the 3rd of December and will start at 17.00 (IS) / 18.00 (UK) / 19.00 (DK/NO/SE) / 20.00 (FI/EST).
The purpose of this Meetup is to create awareness about transitions. The Meetup is aimed for all GTD'ers that are curious about how to handle big transitions - both planned and unplanned. We welcome all GTD’ers - both the beginners and the more experienced ones.
The agenda for the Meetup is going to be:
1. Welcome
2. News from Vital Learning in Nordic+
3. Greetings from the GTD coaches and trainers present at the Zoom Meetup
4. Part 1: John Forrister from the David Allen company and Jens Hynne Petersen from the Danish GTD community will talk about GTD and transitions.
5. Part 2: You will be working on your own transitions with help and guidance.
If you have any GTD questions, you can use the chat box during the Zoom meeting or send them to [email protected] before the Meetup. If you prefer, you can also ask the questions during the sessions. As usual, if you have any questions about the Meetup, please don't hesitate to ask any of the local GTD organisers.
On behalf of GTD in Nordic+ and our GTD Community
