This very scenic circular hilly walk which starts at Denbies Vineyard and features most of the famous Boxhill Hike route. Firstly we exit the Vineyard at Denbies towards some hilly steps to the Visitor Centre at Boxhill. From here we go through the forest to the Gallops, once the exercise ground of the Epsom Derby Champions. We will take a lunch break there. Our walk then takes us through Juniper Top and back to the visitor centre before we return to our start point at Denbies.

This is quite a hilly walk with guidance only. No service is inferred or risk assumed.

Park at Denbies Vineyard on Bradley Lane, Dorking in the large free carpark.

You can also arrive by train at either Dorkng Main Station or Dorking Deepdene. In either case allow enough time to walk to the main building at Denbies Vineyard.

You will need:

1. To be of good physical fitness.
2. Strong ankle supporting walking boots and appropriate clothing
3. Sufficient drinking water.
4. A packed lunch if you intend to eat
5. Dress for the weather
