Guilford / Alamance Combat Veteran's Network

This group is for Iraq/Afghanistan combat veterans in Guilford and Alamance counties who are looking to connect with others; specifically if you've been to the local chapters of the VFW, etc and found them wanting.

There currently isn't an specific goal besides community and camaraderie. As a group we will keep our personal political and religious beliefs to ourselves and keep the war stories to a minimum. When we get a few people we can get together and talk about events, group guidelines, etc.

I'd like this group to be less about celebrating military service and more about supporting the transition to and having full, productive lives as regular people.
