Details

Join author Alayne Smith as she discusses her newest mystery novel, The December Postcards, set in Lawrenceville, Georgia in the 1960s.

Postcards have arrived from all over the world...
One arrives every December. None have messages on them.
Are they from a murderer?

Set in the fall of 1962 in Lawrenceville, Georgia...this historical fiction novel traces the story of Reeda Jones, local reporter, mother, and daughter of the beloved Mildred Martin who was murdered at the historic Feely house nearly thirty years ago.
Against the backdrop of rising tensions due to the Cuban Missile Crisis, Ree follows the clues of the postcards to solve the mystery of her mother's murder and her uncle's sudden disappearance from their lives.

Books will be available for sale and signing.
