UCLUG: Building Your Own Phone Network Using RasPBX
Details
UCLUG, a member group of HackGreenville Community, will have Zach Hall present:
`Building Your Own Phone Network Using FreePBX`
"I'll be talking about the evolution of telephone systems, from
operator-managed switchboards to modern VoIP solutions. Discover how
you can leverage a Raspberry Pi and the open-source RasPBX platform to
create your own home or small-business phone system. Learn about PBX
basics, extensions, SIP trunks, and VoIP codecs and see a few of the
phones I connected to my network."
***
That's right, he's going to bring different types of phones as props!
If you can't attend in-person, please join us live online along with ColaLUG, the Columbia SC Linux User's Group, on Jitsi:
If attending in-person, enter OpenWorks from the 3rd floor of Richardson St. Garage in downtown Greenville, SC. More info on this entrance.
