FAQ-
How do I find the location in the park? We're at Pavillion 1. After Entering the park, make the first available right into the parking lot. Follow the path past the bathrooms and we're there.
Can we bring food? Yes! We will have some snacks and access to the parks grill. Please make sure to bring all necessary items you will need to enjoy your snacks.
Can we bring drones? Yes! There are some rules but yes.
I don't have radio equipment, can I still play the fox hunt? Yes! We have an awesome community and people often bring extra or will take you on their hunt.
Can I bring a tent/shade? Yes! The pavillion is pretty large but you can bring your own space.
What's the power situation? We have multiple outlets available in the pavillion, however power is limited and bringing fully charged devices, batteries, and power banks is a great idea.
What's the Makers Challenge? Design an item with the winter hacker fest and or %27 logo. Bonus points for WHF or %27 logo holiday items.
What's the process for the gift exchange? White elephant style... We usually voluntell someone to moderate who looks competent, hopefully last years person comes again, she was awesome. Gifts should equal between $20-$25 and can include like new cool tech items.
How can we access the CTF? It's in the cloud. We will have some access via hotspot available and are open to solutions as we won't have wifi.
Can I access the CTF if I don't attend in person? Sure, But you're only guaranteed a prize in person although we will try to send you something if you participate remote.
