Book Club - Let's read together!

Do you like to read but you have no time and focus to do it? Maybe this meetup may be good for you.

This event is dedicated to reading, so this ‘book club’ is a little different from the others, since we all read in company. The main purpose of the meetup is reading, so everyone will be free to read any book they want: novels, essays, manga, comics etc. So this IS NOT a discussion about a single book, it’s not that kind of meetup.

How does the meetup work?

We will read in the group, but each person will read their book by themselves.
I will set a timer of 40 minutes, in which we will read, then we will take a break of 10 minutes in which we can talk about what we have read, also recommend to the other members the book we have read, so it's a good chance to discover new readings and share your passion with other people. After 10 minutes, we will read for other 40 minutes and so on.

It is a very free and varied club, since you can read the book you want but still have a conversation. It can also be helpful to those people who don't find the time or the right context to read.

In this way, even a solitary activity such as reading can become more social.

To ensure that the events run smoothly and everyone has a chance to participate, I want to remind you of the attendance policy. I value your commitment to respecting each other's time and effort in organizing these gatherings. I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and plans can change. However, to maintain the quality of my events, I kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to the following policy:

If you are unable to attend an event, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible.
In the case of three unjustified no-shows (not canceled and no communication), a member may be subject to removal from the group.
