Pedals, Cleats, And Bike Shoes - Q&A and Sizing demo is another addition to our series of FREE pop up Q&A sessions being held at our retail center at 3800 Wheeler Ave. If you're looking to upgrade your pedals, are unsure of the right bike shoes to suit your needs, or just want more info on the options available to you, this is the class for you. We'll get into the details of clipless pedals, different styles of shoes and pedals, and finding the right size across a multitude of brands including Lake and Shimano shoes, and Shimano, Wahoo, and Look pedal systems.

This is a free informational session where we'll examine different pedals, look in depth at a variety of biking shoes and their performance, and the added benifits of insoles/ metdomes. You'll have a chance to ask all the questions you can think of, as well as getting sized up for some potential bike shoes!

If you have bike shoes already bring them on in and we can show you how to ensure the cleats are not only spaced evenly but also properly aligned for your feet and stance. Additional pairs of shoes can be aligned or have cleats installed at our standard rate of $15 per pair.

Bikepacking 101 is another addition to our series of FREE pop up Q&A sessions being held at our retail center at 3800 Wheeler Ave. Do you enjoy camping? Do you enjoy cycling? Bikepacking is the incredible combo sport that allows you the best of both worlds. It's tough to beat the opporunity to travel under your own power and sleep under the stars. Bikepacking is bound to be your new favorite hobby!

In this class we'll go over all the basics for getting into it including options for touring bikes, bags, and racks, how to mount it all, and packing the appropriate gear. In addition we will cover what it takes to plan a route, with some local sugestions. We'll also have some of our own personal equipment available to look at including tents, stoves, clothing, food, and our favorite camp chair.

BYOB (bring your own bike) is encouraged if you have specific questions about fitting things like racks or bags.

We have had a lot of demand for mechanic classes, and they're BACK. We're finally settled in our new service center at 3919 Wheeler Ave, which is where the class will be held.

In this class we will cover adjustments to front and rear shifting, and how to clean and lubricate your drivetrain. You can bring your own bike to work on if you'd like, or use one of ours. We will start with the basics and then go in to details based on questions and needs of those attending. Every class is a bit different.

This one hour class is $15. Fee is nonrefundable and nonreschedulable, but IS transferrable. If you cannot attend, you can find someone who can come in your place instead. We have had huge issues with last minute cancellations that has impacted our staffing planning, so which is the reason for this policy.
