Hang Out Woodstock/Helping Orphans Win is once again leading an effort this year to sponsor the orphan teen's Christmas in our area. Since 2019, Hang Out Woodstock (HoW) has really Helped Orphans Win... with a huge gift delivery to both North Georgia Angel House for Girls and Goshen Ranch for Boys. It has been an amazing outpouring, reflecting the caring members that make up HoW.
If you want to participate, you can do so in many ways.

1. Select a gift you want to purchase and bring it to a planned gift drop day.
2. Not a shopper? That is ok, monetary donations work fine as well, and we will shop on your behalf. You will be able to track on the list which gift was purchased with your donation. No donation is too small, if you donate a small amount, it will be combined with others to make the purchase happen. Monetary donations can be given to any Hang Out Woodstock meetup hosts, or directly through the meetup app under Fundraising – there is a link available, just click on that link.
3. Short on money? That is ok, the teens really appreciate letters of encouragement.

To select a gift:
The girls at Angel House provide their top three wish lists, at various price levels, along with some generic needs. To see their wish list, copy and paste this link into your internet browser of choice to review the whole list. Message me (the How Organizer) the gift you would like to sign up to purchase, I will then place your name on it as sponsor to show it as taken. This is to prevent duplicates. You will then drop the gift on the designated drop off days/meetups, or reach out and we can arrange a pick up time. (Note – you do not need to sign up for the meetup to drop the gift off).
For the boys, Goshen boys ranch will open up a wish list on Amazon for our group to do the shopping directly. It is not available yet, but I will share it once it is. If you choose this route, you can have the gift you purchase delivered directly to Goshen or as above bring the gift to any drop off day meetup gift drop day.
Monetary donations can be done a few different ways, you can deliver at a meetup to one of the volunteers, donate directly on the Hang Out Woodstock meetup app under fundraising, send via Venmo or PayPal to me the organizer or we can set up time to connect. Personal message to me, the HoW organizer, so we can arrange a means to connect. If you donate, I will put your name on the list as to which gift you contributing so you can trace your donation.
