This is a a group for people who live in Bayside, the boroughs and Long Island. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city and Long Island. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.

Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party of other people via video on Zoom. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of meeting new people, fun social interactions and games. Our friendly host will be with you live via video orchestrating the event and even making introductions among the group so you'll get to know the other people attending. You're welcome to hop on by yourself or join with friends. About 75% of people sign up by themself so don't worry if you're coming on alone! Our host will make introductions and put you on a team with other people so it's a great way to make new friends. It's a fantastic way to meet new people and we've witnessed countless friendships sparked at this event. In fact, the host gives everyone the opportunity to swap contact info with other people in the group at the end of the night if they'd like to.

When login to the event, you'll get to see all of the other participants via video on Zoom. The event host will then pair you off into smaller teams of about 6 people per group and you'll be working as a team against the other groups. You'll be playing fun games like....
* Playing fun party games similar to Scattergories, Catchphrase, Apples to Apples , Taboo and other games that are similar to your favorite TV game shows! (Don't worry, you don't need to know how to play anything in particular. The host will explain how each game is played). An example game we like to play is "Blank Slate" (In Blank Slate, the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: _________ HOUSE. You'll write down a word that goes before the word HOUSE such as "DOG" or "FULL" or "HAUNTED". Essentially you're trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw!

FAQ:
If I have friends or family members that don't live with me, can they be put on a team with me? Yes! We'd say about 75% of participants sign up on their own but if you have any friends or family members that want to join, they can too (simply message the host at the beginning of the event and ask to be placed on the same team as them). Each player needs to buy their own ticket. If you have a family member/s that is same household as you, they are welcome to sit next to you and you can play along with you but each device needs to purchase their own ticket.How many will be participating? We expect between 20 and 25 people.

Join us for a Sunset Singles Stroll in Central Park! Our date walks are becoming an extremely popular way to meet singles!
This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. Every 10 minutes or so our host will also ask the men to switch with a woman they have not spoken to yet so everyone gets a chance to talk with everyone.
We'll walk a 1.5-2 mile stretch through Central Park. We'll then end the walk watching the sunset together. Feel free to exchange contact info with others after walk.

At this event you will be going on a series of about 10 to 15 mini dates with each date lasting about 6 minutes each. Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman.
You will get a match card and at the end of each mini-date you'll indicate whether or not you'd like to see the person again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address the next day so you can set up a future date! Within 24 hrs, you'll receive an email with the first name and email of your mutual matches.
