Let's try this again! Campsite reservations open up on November 3rd. Let's claim the beachfront sites of B Loop. Post in comments if you book a site so we can try to cluster together.

Saturday, optional hike to Albert Mountain and Pickens Nose: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/albert-mountain-summit-via-bear-pen-trail-7836009? , at 10:00 AM. I will post a separate event for this closer to the date.

Saturday evening we will meet at campsites (TBD) and share a cook-out by the beach.

Sunday, choose your own delight! Jackrabbit Mountain has easy mountain biking trails and is on the banks of Lake Chatuge, suitable for swimming or putting in a kayak right from the campsite. There is also plenty of hiking in the area or fine brunch restaurants in Hiawassee.

Each campsite can accommodate 2 tents and 2 cars. There is a 2 night minimum, so I plan to reserve Friday and Saturday.

This event is for the Saturday night cookout and to coordinate campsites. There will be a separate event(s) for activities - feel free to post one! This should not be your first Happy Trails event. Hike with us first before you spend the night, please. ;)
