We will do the Coosa Backcountry Loop plus Blood Mountain, for approximately 18 miles and 5,000+ feet elevation gain, a strenuous hike.
The surprise on this hike is we shall do it clockwise, which we hardly ever do, the up's and down's will be switched around, the sights to behold will appear to be new!

Meet at 8:00AM at Vogel State Park, that's when we will start hiking, $5 Parking Fee or Annual Pass.

Finish time is approximate, we will try to keep a steady to quick pace, it gets dark earlier now.
I suggest packing a headlamp, just in case.
Please note this hike is Saturday the 16th, we shall have Sue's lovely hike to look forward to on Sunday.
