This is an extensive rock hopping and scrambling hike that requires strength and good rock hopping & scrambling experience. If interested, pls rsvp to the waiting list, I'll move committed hikers who are capable of the hike. To help me decide whether you will enjoy this event pls indicate your rock hopping n scrambling experience if we haven't hiked together before.

Meet at Station St, Samford Village at 6:30am then carpool to Cedar Creek.

We will rock hop up Black Creek to Maiala, then following Cedar Creek back down to the cars.

Distance: \~12km (hard) Some sections are steep and involve some climbing.

What to bring: Good footwear with good grip on rocks (not runners), dry clothes to change if you're carpooling, snacks n lunch, 2-3 liters of water. Insect repellent n tea oil or salt for leeches

There will be the usual gold coin donation.
