What we’re about
The Harrisonburg Knitting/Crochet Meetup Group is for anyone who either already loves yarn crafts or is interested in learning more about knitting and crochet. We meet in person (socially distanced and with masks when indoors for the time being). Come with your latest WIP (work-in-progress) or just to hang out!
We gather at the shop the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm and every Saturday from 4:00-6:00pm to knit, crochet, laugh, share tips, snack, and generally enjoy each others' company.
You do NOT have to be a seasoned crafter to join--most people who come, aren't! This is a safe space to make mistakes and learn from others in the fiber community. We do not charge a fee for the meetup, and you do not need to buy anything while you are there.
And if you have social anxiety, we are right there with you. It's hard to meet new people, but we're going to do our best to make this a really welcoming space.
